From Classroom to Floor: A BFSI Fresher Program Case Study
A BFSI client came to us with a familiar problem: a large fresher hiring target, a short runway before go-live, and a track record of new hires needing 3-4 months to become productive on the floor.
The brief
Get 80 fresh graduates from offer letter to floor-ready, productive agents in time for a new process launch — without lowering the bar on quality or compliance.
What we built
We designed a 6-week blended program combining domain fundamentals, process-specific simulations, and supervised live-call shadowing in the final week. Progress was checked weekly against a skills rubric, not just attendance, so underperforming trainees got extra coaching time instead of being carried forward.
The outcome
- 80 of 80 graduates completed the program and went live on schedule.
- Time to first independent call dropped from ~14 weeks to under 6.
- Early-tenure attrition for the cohort came in well below the client's historical fresher-batch average.
Why it worked
The biggest lever wasn't the curriculum content — it was treating the program as a pipeline with checkpoints, the same way we'd run a recruitment funnel, rather than a fixed-length course everyone moves through at the same pace.
If you're planning a fresher hiring wave and want floor-ready employees faster, register your interest and we'll walk you through how a similar program could be scoped for your team.
